I recently purchased an iphone on a cap plan through Optus. When I received my first bill it was almost twice what I had expected so I sent an email enquiry to Optus – I was not a happy customer. I received an email response within 2 days that clearly explained why the bill had been higher than expected - they bill two months on the first bill so that you are always a month ahead. It was a really nice email welcoming me to Optus, explaining the answer to my query and even gave me an extension on my bill due date. Happy Optus customer again.
